A Madera man was in stable condition at a Fresno hospital Sunday after suffering a gunshot wound that may have been the result of ongoing gang hostility, Madera police said.
The incident is the fifth injury shooting this year.
The man was targeted and shot once in the abdomen and was stable after undergoing surgery Sunday, officers said.
