Madera High School senior Abraham Alimari was chosen Ken Taylor Boy of the Month for April by the Madera Kiwanis Club.
Alimari is an active member of the robotics team, for which he is treasurer. With a 4.45 grade point average, he is treasurer and a lifetime member of the California Scholarship Federation and received the Academic Achievement Award all four years at Madera High School.
He volunteers as a Big Brother mentor and is a junior volunteer at Madera Community Hospital. He has worked for Gateway Market Cellular and Super Mercado La Estrella.
With this award, he becomes eligible for the club’s $1,000 scholarship, to be awarded in May.
