Madera grad working for 49ers

When the San Francisco 49ers defeated the Atlanta Falcons to win a trip to Super Bowl XLVII on Jan. 20, the work suddenly became like a hurry-up offense in the last two minutes of the game for Madera native Dan Henderson. Hopping a flight to New Orleans immediately after the game, Henderson went to work.

Henderson, age 36, is the son of former Madera football coach, the late Millard Henderson and Nadine King. He attended St. Joachim’s, Thomas Jefferson and Madera High. He graduated with a degree in history from the University of California at Santa Cruz. He is married to Catherine and has been with the San Francisco 49ers organization for 10 years.

As soon as he arrived at the hotel of the 49ers, the Marriott in New Orleans, Henderson began his logistical effort.
