The Madera Republican Party has endorsed Brian Whelan in his campaign for the state’s newly formed 16th Congressional District.
The district includes Madera and Merced counties, and part of Fresno.
Madera County joins the Merced County Republican Party in supporting Whelan, who is challenging incumbent Congressman Jim Costa.
