The City of Madera Parks and Community Services Department will host its annual Fourth of July Golf Tournament and Fireworks Spectacular.
It’s a free, community-driven event held at Madera Municipal Golf Course, said recreation programs supervisor Freddy Arias.
“It’s our biggest summer event — more than 5,000 people attend,” he said. “And it’s one of the best fireworks shows and events around here locally.”
The golf tournament starts at 8 a.m. Registration begins at 7 a.m. and costs $75 per player. The entry fee covers a cart, range balls, food, prizes, and VIP parking to the Fireworks Spectacular that evening...
