Members of Madera Curves donated more than a half-ton of food collected throughout the month of March for Holy Family Table.
When members walked into the center for their workout they brought a carton, can or packaged food item. Their contributions were delivered Friday to Holy Family Table.
The local effort is part of a nationwide Curves March Food Drive to help the less fortunate and provide nourishment to charitable organizations.
According to Curves owner Sherryl Sylvester, the generous contributions from the women of the local business on Road 26 have brought in 1,080 pounds of packaged food items...
