Ambrocio and Herminia Garcia of Madera celebrated their 50th anniversary Nov. 26, 2011, by renewing their vows at St. Joachim Catholic Church.
The couple was married at the church on Nov. 25, 1961.
The Garcias were joined in the celebration by their children, Teresa Rouzaud, Ambrocio Garcia, Jr., Rudy Garcia and Rick Garcia, along with several grand-children and great-grandchildren.
Some family members and friends came from Chicago and the Los Angeles area to help the couple celebrate.
