The City of Madera now offers bus riders a safe and convenient way to store strollers on city buses.
The city has two MAX (fixed route) buses that offer the new service. City fleet staff members made room for strollers by retrofitting the two buses. The city has plans by the end of the year to expand this service on an additional bus.
As new units of MAX and Dial-A-Ride buses are purchased and put into service, they, too, will be fitted to provide a safe way to store strollers.
