Madera’s only 7-Eleven, at Cleveland Avenue and Lake Street, is open again, and the owners hope customers will return.
The store was forced by a 7-Eleven corporate decision, to remove its fuel pumps. As a result, the store front was almost entirely fenced off, making parking and entering the door a challenge.
According to storeowner Sunny Bhanot, the removal of the pumps began July 24 and was completed Monday. The parking area has been repaved and new lines have been painted.
