Machine company expands to Chowchilla

When Eli Liuba sees an opportunity, it doesn’t take long for him to act on it.

As the president of Pacific Metal Fab and L&L Machining in Madera, Liuba was looking to expand to the west in Firebaugh. Instead, after a conversation with an employee, he decided to expand north to Chowchilla.

On Oct. 1, Liuba became the owner of Central Cal Machining, formerly Chowchilla Precision Machining, on 260 S. 3rd St.

Pacific Metal Fab, L&L Machining and Central Cal Machining manufacture parts to make machines. They also repair parts or assemble machines for farming and manufacturing companies. The companies also deal with custom works for anything made out of metal. Pacific Metal Fab specializes with the farming industry with grape gondolas and conveyers...
