Locals finish basic training

Air National Guard airmen Alfredo J. Uribe and Moses D. Osuna graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Uribe, who is an airman 1st class, is the son of Eva and Alfredo Uribe of Madera and a 2011 graduate of Madera High School.

Osuna is the son of Julian Osuna of Madera and a 2009 graduate of Madera High School.

Both airmen completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
