After 28 years in the career of delivering peoples’ mail, a Madera woman has been sworn in to the highest-ranking job at the local post office.
About 50 people gathered Friday at the United States Postal Service to see Ranjit K. Hans take the oath.
Several colleagues, union leaders, officials and her family took the stage to congratulate Hans and praise her dedication, commitment and perseverance throughout her career.
