Show to air Tuesday afternoon on CBS

A 22-year-old woman from Madera Ranchos was a contestant on the daytime television game show “Let’s Make a Deal,” but she isn’t allowed to say whether she uncovered a deal or a “zonk” — viewers will have to watch the show Tuesday to find out.

Jacquelyn Pearson dressed up in an ‘80s-themed costume — “I was wearing a bunch of bright neon colors,” she said — and went with two of her college friends in mid-July to the taping of the show in Burbank.

“I grew up always loving game shows; ever since I was little I wanted to be on one,” she said. “I tried to get on The Price Is Right on my 18th and 21st birthdays, but wasn’t a contestant.”

Pearson got priority tickets, which guarantees a spot in the audience...
