Two Madera couples chose to wed Wednesday — on a day that only comes around once every leap year.
Pablo Fernandez, 22, decided two weeks ago that he and his fianceé, Angelica Castaneda, 22, should get married on Feb. 29.
“So I only have to get her a gift every four years,” Fernandez said, laughing.
“He’s not kidding!” Castaneda said, also laughing. “But it does make anniversaries easier.” ...
