The Madera Kiwanis Club has a new slate of officers, one of whom is a third-generation member of the club.

Tiffany Swarts, the incoming president, is the daughter and granddaughter of members of the club she now leads. Her grandfather, Doug Pratt, was president of Madera Kiwanis Club in 1987-88 and her father, Cliff Miller, is president-elect this year.

Other officers are Robert Poythress, vice president; Susan O’Haro, past president; Dennis Smith, treasurer; and Sharon Creamer, secretary. All are board members. Other board members include Marilyn Tolmachoff, Steve Frazier, Jim Bryan, John Bryan and Staci Martines.

Installing officer at the Oct. 3 installation dinner at the Vineyard Restaurant was former Kiwanis Division 5 Lt. Gov. Richard Wayne, who praised the club for its many activities, and singled out Creamer for her 19 years as club secretary.
