The summer Concert in the Park series continues this Sunday with the jazz band Without a Doubt performing at 7 p.m. in the amphitheater in Lions Town and Country Park.

The Fresno-based band has entertained throughout California, from private events to large concerts, playing at the Sacramento Jazz Festival, Coombs River Ranch, Bass Lake’s Jazz on the Lake, and the Woodward Park Summer Jazz series. The diverse musical talents of the band members blend together in unique instrumental arrangements and vocal harmonies.

A concession stand with food, snacks and cold refreshments opens at 6 p.m. In addition to regular items this concert’s special is a bacon and provolone cheeseburger with chips and drink for $6. Proceeds from the concession benefit the Madera Adult Day Care Center.

The concert is free and parking is available at the Howard Street lot across from the amphitheater. The concerts are co-sponsored by the Madera County Arts Council and the Madera Parks and Community Services Department and made possible with donations from local businesses, service clubs and individuals.
