Madera County Supervisor Frank Bigelow has formally announced his bid for the newly drawn 5th state Assembly district.
His campaign has more than $145,000 cash on hand and a total $169,150 raised, according to a press release.
Bigelow gave $50,000 of his own funds to seed the campaign, the press release said.
