Hayes, Tucker to wed in summer

Alison Hayes will wed Grant Tucker on Aug. 16, 2014 at the Vezer Family Vineyards in the greater Napa Valley.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ken and Mona Hayes of Madera and a 2007 graduate of Madera High School where she played volleyball and softball. She attended Fresno City College and works as an academic coordinator for high school foreign exchange students.

Her fiancé is the son of John and Joyce Tucker of Madera and a 2006 graduate of MHS where he played water polo and was on the wrestling and swimming teams. He attended Fresno State University. In 2010, he graduated from the California Highway Patrol Academy in Sacramento and now works as an officer in the Bay Area.

The couple has been together since 2010. On July 31, Grant proposed on Treasure Island in San Francisco after having a CHP officer pull her car over. They reside in Fairfield with their two children.
