A&S Metals Recycling will hold their grand opening Friday with music, food and more. The recycling facility handles not only metals but also plastic, paper, cardboard, and any item that has California Redemption Value (CRV).
According to promotions and facilities director Danny Vigil, it also will recycle large household appliances such as washers, dryers, and water heaters. The facility is a free drop-off site for electronic components as well.
“We wanted to bring full-service recycling to Madera,” said Vigil.
