Central California Community Bank branches will offer free document shredding events throughout the month to help residents prevent identity theft and fraud during tax time by safely shredding personal documents.

The Madera branch, 1919 Howard Road, will host the event from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, April 22. Residents and businesses are allowed to bring up to six banker boxes full of documents to shred for free, up to the truck’s capacity. Call 673-0395 for more information.
