Frazier resigns from city council

City Council Member Brett Frazier has resigned his council post because he moved to the Madera Ranchos Aug. 15.

He said he didn’t want to quit the council, where he has served less than one four-year term, which would have ended at the end of next year.

“But the rules are the rules,” he said. “If you don’t live in the city, you can’t serve on the council.”

Frazier, a single parent, said he made the move to the Ranchos to become more closely involved in the educations of his two children. They attend Webster and Sierra View elementary schools in the Golden Valley School District...
