Fourth of July event to be held in Coarsegold

The third annual 4th of July Family Freedom Fest will be held at Coarsegold Historic Village, 35300 Highway 41.

It’s a free patriotic, all-day community event. There will be food, vendors, children’s activities, a bounce house, waterslide, crafts, and more. The main program will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with patriotic music, color guard, speakers, and a children’s performance.

Alison Starkey Sharino will sing with the Lamar Leathers Band. Speakers will include Jim Franklin, Steve Brandau, George Radanovich, Jesse Lee Peterson, Kristen Olsen and Meg Backman with an expected visit from Congressman Tom McClintock.
