Deputies searching for 3 suspects

The Madera County Sheriff’s Department is searching for three suspects in a shooting on Krohn Street, near Ellis Street, that left four people injured.

The four were shot at close range Sunday during a drug-related disagreement, sheriff’s spokeswoman Erica Stuart said.

The department has identified 19-year-old James Agustus Neal, and brothers Timothy Wayne Maldonado, 35, and 37-year old Carlos Gene Maldonado as suspects in the shooting.

A man in his mid-40s was seriously injured after he was shot once in the chest, back and upper leg. The sheriff’s department is not releasing his name, but several neighbors identified him as Scotty Greer...
