The Fossil Discovery Center is set to host a lecture series, mostly focused on the San Joaquin Valley and its surroundings, but also including travel stories.
The 2013 Lecture Series will feature six speakers from January until March at the center, 19450 Ave. 21 1/2.
“It’s very local. Just people marketing information about the area they live in and I think it’s important for the community to consider attending,” said Michele Pecina, a board member of the San Joaquin Valley Paleontology Foundation, which operates the center.
