Madera Classic Cars held its final show Friday night at the Walgreen’s store on Cleveland Avenue. More than 110 vehicles and motorcycles filled its parking lot to near capacity.
The show featured music by the Yard Dogs band and a drawing for a large barbecue to benefit the family of Henry Torres. He was a member of the club until he lost his battle with cancer earlier this year, and his1965 Chevy Malibu was on display. The barbecue was won by Debi and Bill Valorosi.
According to club member Cindy Diaz, it was a good evening for the nearly 1,000 car enthusiasts who attended to view restored classics, hotrods, custom cars and pickups and motorcycles.
