City of Madera Parks Department aims to keep youth active, healthy

Madera youths will have plenty of opportunities for physical activity and healthy eating this summer through several City of Madera Parks and Community Services Department programs.

“We have a lot of free and low-cost programs that are part of our physical activity initiative to keep kids active,” said Recreation Programs Supervisor Freddy Arias.

Summer Kid’s Camp

Summer Kid’s Camp will run for nine weeks beginning Monday at the John W. Wells Youth Center.
