More than 100 seniors from across the community gathered at Rotary Park on Gateway Drive on Tuesday for a luncheon and hours of activities sponsored by Madera Parks and Community Services.
The day began with games including croquet and horseshoes. For lunch, Yvonne Hamilton of the Parks Department cooked and served hamburgers, hotdogs, chili, salad and cupcakes for dessert.
Music from the 1950s was played during the event.
