Looking for something to do this New Year’s Eve? Then look no further, as a variety of businesses and clubs in town are getting ready for dinners, dancing, champagne toasts, and even roller skating to help local citizens bring in the new year with a night of fun and excitement.

In fact, at one bar, a sober driver has even volunteered to take patrons home free of charge to ensure a safe holiday; just one of several surprises or specials awaiting Maderans who choose to attend a bevy of local New Year’s parties.

A similar service will also be provided free-of-charge to drivers through AAA of Northern California’s Tipsy Tow program.

Drivers who drink too much on New Year’s Eve — who do not have to be AAA members — can call (800) 222-4357 and tell the operator they need a Tipsy Tow, which will send a AAA tow truck to their location...
