Feinstein opponent and state senator encourage local GOP group
The Madera Republican Women heard firsthand why Elizabeth Emken, Republican candidate for U.S. senator, thinks that her Democratic opponent in the November general election, Sen. Diane Feinstein, won’t debate her.
Emken came to Madera on Thursday night to tell the local GOP group that Feinstein is not all that secure as she faces the voters in November. According to Emken a recent Pepperdine Public Policy Poll shows 21 percent of the voters are still undecided about the California Senate race. Emken said the Pepperdine poll shows Feinstein is supported by only 48 percent of the voters.
Emken said that no national polling group has conducted a survey of voter preference in the California Senate race.
