Eight volunteers for the Madera County Sheriff’s Department’s Citizens on Patrol program have been sworn in by Sheriff John Anderson.
The volunteers took the oath before a packed crowd in Coarsegold on Monday night.
Madera County Supervisor Frank Bigelow was also there to honor the volunteers.
