The annual Spring Fling Eggstravaganza will be held Saturday at Lions Town and Country Park on softball fields 7, 8 and 9 next to Industrial Avenue.
The community-wide event is sponsored by the Madera Parks and Community Services Department, and supported by local businesses, the Breakfast Lions Club and individuals.
The fun begins at 10 a.m. For a nominal price there will be bounce houses, an obstacle course and food and refreshments. The Spring Bunny will be available for photos between 10:30 and 11:15.
The free egg hunt begins at 11:30. There will be more than 10,000 candy- and prize-filled eggs, but don’t be late. Baskets will also be sold at a minimal cost for the kids to gather their eggs. The egg hunt is restricted to groups of children ages 3-4, 5-7 and 8-10. For safety’s sake, babies and strollers will not be allowed in the hunt...
