Economic summit to be held on Wednesday

The Madera County Economic Development Commission is set to host its annual economic summit on Wednesday and is still accepting sponsorships. The 2012 Economic Summit will feature two speakers and include lunch at the Madera Municipal Golf Course, 23200 Ave. 17.

It is set to last from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Cost per person is $30 and tables of 10 may be reserved for $300.

John Stewart, CEO of Grubb Ellis Pearson Commercial in Fresno, and Mike Winn, CEO of the California Building Industry Assocation, are set to speak.

Stewart will give an update about the state of the commercial and industrial real estate market in the Madera region...
