David Main, MD, is not only a physician at Madera Community Hospital (MCH), but has dedicated his adult life to serving his country and aiding those sick and injured wherever he may go.
After graduating from high school in Fair Oaks, Main was accepted at the Military Academy at West Point and graduated in 1997. He served in Iraq and combined with his active and reserve commitments served until 2011. After active duty, he enrolled at UC Davis and graduated in 2006 with a degree in medicine. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Loma Linda Hospital in 2009. His first job out of his residency was being accepted at MCH, where he is still on staff.
He took another big step in 2009. He married a nurse, Stefanie. They have a one and a half year old son, Liam and they are expecting their second child in less than two weeks.
