Rotary District Governor Marvin Williamson and his wife Judy visited the Madera Sunrise Rotary Club at a special meeting Tuesday night at Madera Municipal Golf Course. The club normally meets Wednesday mornings at the golf course.
Williamson began the day by meeting with club president Monic Asenjo-Wilhite, secretary Aida Nassar and incoming president Scott Wilhite at 4:30 p.m. They discussed club goals, budget and other club functions.
Afterward, the district governor met with the entire Rotary board of directors. Each director had the opportunity to give a report on the club’s present and future projects.
By 6 p.m. nearly the entire membership was present for a photo opportunity and some socialization. Dinner was served and President Asenjo-Wilhite opened the membership meeting as per the regular protocol Wednesday mornings.
