City officials say start could be as soon as next week
Construction on the long awaited courthouse building could begin as early as next week, according to city officials.
Rumors of project cancelation, location changes and other delays have clouded the timeline and progress of the state project.
The largest worry among local officials was the state would shift the money for other uses or not be able to allocate sufficient funding for the courthouse.
