Coarsegold man booked for terrorizing neighbors

A Coarsegold man was arrested earlier this week for making more than a dozen threatening phone calls to his neighbors and, in person, threatened to kill another man and his entire family.

Jason Jon Kissee, 36, was booked Tuesday into Madera County Jail on charges of making threats with the intent to terrorize. He remained jailed Wednesday with bail set at $25,000.

Madera County district attorney Michael Keitz said Kissee would be arraigned today inside the Sierra Division court at Bass Lake.
