The Sunrise Rotary Sports Complex will be a busy place beginning in early October, according to the Madera Parks and Community Services Department’s fall sports schedule.
Registration has begun for both the men’s and coed “Fall Ball” softball leagues and the flag football league with all games to be played at the softball fields at the complex at the east end of Clinton Avenue.
Fall softball is scheduled to begin the week of Oct. 6 with men’s leagues in both upper and lower division playing on Monday and Wednesday and the coed league competing on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Team entry fee is $350 for the men’s leagues and $300 for the coed league. A mandatory manager’s meeting is scheduled for Tuesday at the Frank Bergon Senior Center, 238 S. D Street.
