With 306 foreclosed homes currently on the market within Madera city limits — and many more looming — the City of Madera is hoping to help residents keep their homes.
The city is collaborating with the Housing Authorities of Madera and Fresno to host a citywide foreclosure prevention workshop June 23.
Homeowners at risk of foreclosure can meet with their lender representatives at the workshop to see if they are eligible for loan modification, ask questions, and see what other options they have, organizers say.
