As you put away the lights, wreaths and ornaments to unpack next year, the Christmas tree can make its way to the curb before the limbs are bare and the floor is covered in pine needles.
Residential Christmas tree collection began this week and continues through Jan. 13. Christmas trees will be picked up on your normal day of trash service.
Trees must be placed in the street for pickup — they will not be removed from alleys. All stands, tinsel, ornaments and lights must be removed from the tree before placing it outside.
