Santa’s last visit Wednesday
Awed children looked up the staircase to see a plump red figure at the top. A bearded man sat in a chair and merrily welcomed visitors with open arms to the Madera County Courthouse Museum, 210 W. Yosemite Ave.
One 3-year-old in pink pajamas ran up to him and said, “Hi, I’m Emily!” Her mother, Lisa Rodriguez, looked on with a smile.
“I think it’s awesome. Santa is her favorite,” Rodriguez said.
