People of faith, who also happen to enjoy riding, gathered for a rally that featured worship through music and prayer. Dozens of two and three wheeled motorcycles lined the Madera District Fairgrounds during the 7th annual Central Valley Christian Biker’s Rally, where vendors also sold food, jewelry, used motorcycle gear and coffee among other products.
The event — which also included bike games, arm wrestling, ring tones and music by the Rhema Blues Band — serves as a way for Christian bikers to meet and socialize, said organizer Sue Shaw, from One Nation Under God Motorcycle Ministry, which has been in Madera for nine years.
Her organization, along with Sons of Thunder Motorcycle in Merced, Lion of Judah from Hilmar and Merced, and Grace Ministries from Fresno, organized this year’s event on Saturday. Shaw estimated at least 500 people showed up.
