CHP reports 3 DUI crashes; six arrested for DUI

The California Highway Patrol reported three DUI-related crashes and six DUI arrests over Memorial Day weekend, according to acting Sgt. Pablo Reyna.

“Holiday traffic has been light to moderate. So far (our) activity has been light with no major injury crashes or collisions,” Reyna said.

Jonathan Quintero, 18, was arrested Saturday night on suspicion of driving under the influence after he reportedly failed to stop at a light. According to reports, he was seen driving erratically and was unable to maintain his lane in heavy traffic about 8 p.m. on Yosemite Avenue.
