Residents of Chowchilla eagerly crowded near the city’s official Christmas tree to see it light up in a ceremony, which included a visit from Santa Claus, music and treats.
Chowchilla resident Kristee Clark took her husband and children to see the 45th annual Chowchilla Lions Club Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.
She said she grew up with the yearly holiday tradition and wanted her family to enjoy it.
