Children’s Hospital Central California has announced that Todd Suntrapak, a Fresno native and hospital employee since 1995, will immediately take the position of president and chief executive officer of the company.
Suntrapak, 45, said his focus as CEO will be on three key areas: Standardizing clinical work, minimizing waste to become more efficient and preparing for more growth.
Suntrapak had been the hospital’s chief operating officer and executive vice president since 2005 and replaces Gordon Alexander, who left in November after a year and a half. He looks to bring that experience to his new position.
“Certainly having an insider’s view of the organization helps a lot,” Suntrapak said. “As COO my responsibilities were both fiscal and accountability operations of the company. That level of understanding, in such a recent time, will bring a lot to the CEO’s office.” ...
