While watering her yard after a parent meeting to discuss how to raise money to send Madera High School’s senior cheerleaders to perform at Disneyland, long-time cheer adviser Tammi Britton had an epiphany.
“We came up with a lot of little ideas at the meeting,” Britton said. “I was watering the yard and thinking about how much fun we had with those kids. I thought I would like to see all the old cheerleaders again.”
That’s when Britton formulated the idea of hosting a Madera High School cheerleader alumni reunion as a fundraiser for the Coyote senior cheerleaders including Britton’s daughter Bailey.
