Ten Madera High School senior boys modeled, showed off their talents and answered questions before their peers in their quest to be crowned Mr. MHS.
Desmond Chambers came out on top, however, and was named Mr. MHS 2013 in the fifth annual pageant. He won $100. A panel of judges, made up of the school’s principal Kent Albertson and teachers, chose the winner.
“I’m extremely happy to win. It’s great to experience this, especially during my senior year,” he said.
