Cedar Creek dedicates Pooh Park

On a sunny Friday afternoon, staff and seniors of Cedar Creek Retirement Community gathered in a little used corner of the spacious grounds to dedicate a park for the pets of clientele.

In the ceremony on National Winnie the Pooh Day, the park was named after the cuddly little bear created by A.A. Milne in his book of the same name published in 1926.

Executive Director Martin T. Vale and Community Marketing Director Ren Carter cut the ribbon to open the park. The play area for pets was a group effort, according to Carter.
