Craft show to benefit charities

Catholic women aiming to raise funds for three local charities are set to host the second annual Spring Craft Show on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free to the public.

Sixty artists and crafters from throughout the Central Valley will sell handmade items at Holy Spouses Hall, 310 N. I St., and donate pieces for raffles. Tickets for the raffles will sell for $1.

Food donated by local businesses will be on sale throughout the event and will include muffins, fresh fruit, hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos and chicken salad.

Organized by Catholic Daughters of the Americas St. Joachim Court #2553, the show’s proceeds will benefit the Holy Family Table, Marian Center and Doors of Hope Pregnancy Center, said Norma Barnett, event chairwoman...
