Captain Kirks continues to evolve after 20 years

Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, Captain Kirks Wireless has defied recessions and a poor economy by evolving with the latest electronic trends to remain the Valley’s oldest independent wireless phone dealer.

Kirk Atamian, the 44-year-old founder and owner of Captain Kirks Wireless, said Madera’s loyal customers have kept his business alive from the very beginning.

Ken Katz, a customer of Atamian’s for the past 25 years, said what sets Captain Kirks Wireless apart from other wireless companies is the fact that Atamian is always up to date on the latest wireless technology. Katz said between his product knowledge and customer service skills, he will always have a successful business.

“He will do things for customers to the detriment of himself or his business,” Katz said. “You’ll never replace personal service.” ...
