Dogs of all breeds and mixes barked, sniffed and strolled at Lions Town and Country Park with their owners to raise funds for American Cancer Society programs at the annual Bark For Life on Saturday morning.
Event coordinator Lorraine Serrano opened the show at 9 a.m. and welcomed the crowd.
“Many cancer survivors do not have family or friends, but have canine companions. They may feel uncomfortable attending Relay For Life so this Bark For Life gives those survivors a chance to join in the fight against cancer,” said Serrano.
